Sunday check-in Exploring Sunday Reflections: Coffee Cardamom Recipe and Meaningful Dreams

Dear friends,
Another Sunday at my mom's house. How have you been?
I've been sitting with my coffee this morning — made with cardamom this time, which changes everything. There's something about that spice that slows the cup down, makes it feel less like habit and more like a small ceremony. Matteo first put it in front of me without warning, and I've been thinking about it ever since. If you've never tried it, I hope you will. And if you have a version of your own — cold, spiced differently, with something unexpected — please tell me.
It feels like the right drink for a morning full of half-remembered things.
Because I've been dreaming vividly lately. The kind that leave a texture
behind when you wake up — a feeling in the room, a voice you can almost still hear. I keep finding myself in houses. Familiar ones, strange ones. And something small happens in them that I can't quite explain away.

I'm curious about you. Do you dream like that? Does something stay with you after — an image, a sound, a sense that it meant something?
And — I have to ask — have you ever had a dream that felt less like a dream and more like a door? Like you'd slipped sideways into another version of things, and woke up not entirely sure which side you came back from?
I hope so. I'd love not to be the only one. 💬
June
